Reception

Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability. Additional charges may apply.

Check-in

Check-in will be carried out exclusively with the booking holder, who must have in their possession all passports and/or identification documents of all guests listed on the booking.

In accordance with Portuguese Law, at check-in, it is mandatory to present an official identification document (Passport, Citizen Card/Identity Card) for all occupants of the accommodation (adults, children and infants). In the absence of such a document, check-in cannot be completed. However, the cancellation policy associated with the booking will still apply.

Online Payments

All credit and debit card transactions are charged at the point of purchase. Please note that your credit card will be charged directly at the time of the transaction. Payment can be made through our secure checkout pages using your credit or debit card. Your card will be charged at the time you make your booking and receive your booking confirmation.

Booking and Payment Conditions

The booking guarantee payment can be made by bank transfer or credit card (Visa or MasterCard, with 3D Secure enabled).

If you have made an advance payment by Credit Card to guarantee the booking, it is absolutely necessary that you present that same card at check-in. If it is not possible to present that card, a new payment of that amount must be made (by credit card, debit card or cash). The amount charged to the previous card will be promptly refunded.

If you wish to add your VAT number to the invoice resulting from the advance payment, you must provide it at the time of booking.

NON-REFUNDABLE RATE BOOKING

Security Deposit

Full payment will be required at the time of booking.

Cancellations, no-show and early departure

In the event of cancellation, no-show on the check-in date or early departure, the payment made will not be refunded. It is not possible to change the booking dates.

FLEXIBLE RATE BOOKING

Security Deposit

Payment of 50% of the total amount will be required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid at check-in, directly at Reception.

Cancellations

• Cancellations received up to 3/5 days before the arrival date will incur no charge and the deposit will be refunded;
• Cancellations received 2/4 days or less before the arrival date will incur a charge of 50% of the total booking value.

Cancellation on check-in day, no-show and early departure

In the event of no-show on the scheduled arrival date or early departure, Omid Saldanha Hotel reserves the right to charge 100% of the total stay value.

Children’s Policy

Children up to 2 years of age stay free of charge. Children between 3 and 11 years of age pay 50% of the adult stay rate. Children aged 12 and over are considered adults.

The maximum occupancy of Standard, Superior and Deluxe rooms is 2 persons; it is not possible to accommodate additional guests, including children.

For family bookings (maximum 4 persons), interconnecting rooms are available, subject to availability. Please contact the Reservations team or Reception for further details.

The maximum occupancy of the Suite is 2 adults and 1 child, with the option of adding a cot or extra bed, subject to an additional charge.

Cleaning Services

Rooms are cleaned daily, with towels and bed linen changed accordingly.

Tasca da Memória Restaurant opening hours:

• Breakfast: 07:30 – 10:30
• Lunch: 12:30 – 15:00
• Dinner: Sunday to Thursday: 19:00 – 22:00 | Friday and Saturday: 19:00 – 22:30
• Bar: 10:30 – 01:00

Our rates include buffet breakfast.

Allergies or dietary requirements should be communicated at the time of booking so that they can be accommodated (additional charges may apply).

For Food Safety and Hygiene reasons, Omid Saldanha Hotel does not store any food or beverages brought in from outside the hotel.

Pets

Pets of any kind are not permitted at Omid Saldanha Hotel.

Tourist Tax

The tourist tax applies per night and per guest aged over thirteen, staying at tourist developments and local accommodation establishments, up to a maximum of 7 nights per stay. The rate is €2.00 per person per night.

Dress Code

A dress code is in effect in the public areas of the property, which will be monitored and enforced.

Online Availability/Bookings

If the Online Booking system provided on the respective website is used, the Terms and Conditions relating to availability, pricing and cancellations apply to each indicated price, and the user should carefully read the details provided relating to the rate charged before completing the booking process. Any special requirements should be communicated at the time of booking; however, their fulfilment cannot be guaranteed.

“Prices From”

Prices referred to as “Prices From” in hotel listing pages are considered the lowest available base price per night, per person, for the respective unit (hotel) until the end of the current calendar year. As such, there is no guarantee of availability of this price at the time of any given search in our booking system (price varies according to the search date). As these prices are already the lowest available, which may or may not include promotional campaigns, no additional discounts will apply.

General Provisions

The user is not permitted to assign, sublicense or otherwise transfer any of their rights stipulated under these Terms and Conditions. Should any provision contained in these Terms and Conditions be deemed invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of that provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions included in these Terms and Conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect. The failure of either party to exercise any right or remedy under these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that right or remedy.

Use of the Website

Use of the website requires the user to be of legal age (minimum age of 18) and capable of entering into binding contracts. The user will be financially responsible for all use of the website made by themselves. The user may only use the website to make legitimate bookings or purchases and warrants that all personal information provided during the booking and registration process is correct. We reserve the right, at any time and without prior notice, to prevent or restrict the user’s access to all or part of the website.

Website Availability

The website may not be permanently accessible due to maintenance or repair operations, or due to computer problems or failures, internet service failures or other unforeseen circumstances. The website contains information about our products and services worldwide, not all of which will be available in all locations. A reference to a product or service on the website does not imply that such product or service is, or will be, available in the user’s location. The content of the website, including advertising content, is intended to be used and displayed only where its use and display is permitted under applicable laws and regulations.

As such, OMID HOTELS does not guarantee that the content is appropriate to the user’s particular circumstances or that it will meet the user’s specific needs. OMID HOTELS accepts no responsibility for any errors or omissions considered to be outside its reasonable control, which may affect any content on the website. The website may include links to other websites that are outside our control and are not subject to these Terms and Conditions. If the user accesses other websites using the links provided, the availability and content of those websites will be the responsibility of their operators.

Registration

If the user registers or provides personal data through the website, they must ensure that the details provided at the time of registration, or at any other time, are correct and complete.

The user undertakes to immediately notify any necessary changes to the information provided at the time of registration. OMID HOTELS guarantees the full confidentiality of personal data provided through a secure server and in accordance with applicable law.

Changes to these Terms and Conditions

OMID HOTELS reserves the right, at its discretion, to make any changes to any part of the website. As a result of its update policy, OMID HOTELS may wish to amend these Terms and Conditions (including those relating to the use of content). In the event of changes to the Terms and Conditions, OMID HOTELS will notify the user by indicating at the beginning of these Terms and Conditions the date of their last update. It is therefore important that, whenever the user accesses the website, they check whether there is any notification of changes to the Terms and Conditions. Use of the website following publication or notification of changes by OMID HOTELS implies acceptance of those changes. If the user does not agree to be bound by such changes, they should not continue to use the website.

Promotions and Offers

OMID HOTELS may make available on the website information relating to specific services, offers or promotions it is running. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with Portuguese law. Both parties agree, in the exclusive interest of OMID HOTELS, to elect the Portuguese courts as the exclusive competent jurisdiction to hear and decide any proceedings, actions or legal measures that may arise from or result from this agreement; unless it has been agreed that this jurisdiction clause in the exclusive interest of OMID HOTELS reserves the right to bring legal action against the user in courts of competent jurisdiction in any other country.
